Hi all , one of the guys dumped his rig Fri while sailing in Porthcawl , well he tied it to the powerboat yelllow can in Newton bay and
paddled his board back , but on returning at lowtide it had gone .

That doesn't sound too promising... Do you think someone swiped it, or did it work its way loose and the tide take it??... I would have
thought leaving a rig tied to a bouy was asking for trouble, I'd imagine it getting ripped to pieces by the waves and tides.
I never did see any sign of the rig I lost by the Dovey Bar bouy!... Hope Matts turns up.

think it came loose , agree it was a very silly thing to do , think he lost the plot a bit the bay in newton was in a wind shaddow at
time so not a ripple in water just a big tide pushing you along bay .
