Nice one Al, was that a RDM mast or normal. Just that I changed over to RDM's a couple of years ago because I kept breaking normal wave masts.

Just a normal 75% carbon mast. Maybe time to get RDM's myself!

It snapped just below the ferrule on the bottom half of the mast. Luckily this time I wasn't too far out and could walk back to shore. Last time I snapped one I was miles out and ended up having to ditch everything except my board and swim back.
