The Week Ahead

I know everyone is getting a little excited about the wind due tomorrow (Personally I'm not convinced that its gonna be THAT good), but has anyone noticed what is being forecast for next week and next weekend yet...

Its still early days, but WindGuru has some decent SE's on weds, veering S-SW on Thursday and then solid 20 knot SW's for Firday and Sat.... Fingers Crossed.

Spencer... Fancy a session at WSM on Saturday if the wind materialises??

It wasn't too bad here first thing... 25-35 knots NE in the estuary, but it had dropped off and become very gusty by about 8.30am, so I packed up and came home to do some work... We then had a powercut so I couldn't do any work so just HAD to go back to the beach and go out again. Still on the 5m and waveboard which was nice in the gusts, but sunk in the lulls!

The wind has now just suddenly gone Westerly!!

Oh, and I'll be in Bristol so it would cost too much to get to your neck of the woods next weekend.

its pretty quick here from Bristol about 45m , but the bridge is costly , unless you got windows in and shout camper at attendant then its same as cars .
also low water is mid day on weekend which means you betta get a power washer in van to get the MUD off from wsm.

Thats true, I was about to ask about the tides for next weekend.....

I'll have to see whats happening anyway as I might not end up having time to get to the beach.... Depends on the forecast really.
