Damsel in distress

Heya!

Just wondering if anyone can give me some advice. I started windsurfing last year - dinghy sailor who has seen the light - and started off on a techno. I'm now looking to change it for a smaller board, and need advice! A couple of people have suggested trying to find a starboard carve 111 or an f2 max-2-air. Any suggestions!? I am in the harness fine and in the footstraps dodgily, cant gybe to save my life, and weigh 55kg!

Loz,

There are loads of options - and without fully understanding where you sail, what you can do, what your aspirations are for the rest of this season, what colour it needs to be............ ;-) only kidding.... - (but you'd be surprised how many people ask me that) no one can really say what's best for you. The best thing I can recommend is to come along to the shop - Boardwise Cannock (01543 505084) have a look around and a chat with me or one of the other guys, demo a few boards and then make the decision for yourself.

Ahhhaa, got a message yesterday to call a Loranne - guess this must be you..... it's on my to do list so I'll call you later this morning.

Doug and Ian (Boardwise bosses) are back from Ian's stag do at Club Vass today, so I am guessing there's going to be quite alot of stories this morning..... at least I hope so - did someone say Ian was going to be body painted from head to toe.... stripped naked and wrapped in cling film......
