Kite for beginner for light wind force 3 weather
What size kite and board would be good for a beginner in light wind. I suppose body weight also comes into it when choosing a kite.
Any suggestion for some one of about 9 stone, it will be used for 6 – 12 Knots wind speed, as any think above that and I would be
windsurfing.

Im assuming you mean kite surfing, not kite land boarding. If your after a light wind kite, then the bigger the better. No kite will
really get you up and going in under 8 knots, really 10 knots. look for some thing in the 15-17 meter range. Obviously I wouldnt
recomend some thing this large to learn to fly kites with however. DONT DO IT!!!! Theres a second hand wipika on the site owned by
"justal", its an 11, 15 in new terms, which would be ideal. Please remember though, DO NOT learn to fly with this kite, get a smaller
trainer kite first.

Cheers for the advice
It will be for kite surfing once I have mastered flying one. I will get some lesson's first and or a small kite to practice flying.
What is the High and Low aspect of kites all about and what should I look for?

To begin with you want a low or medium aspect kite, dont buy a high aspect kite. High aspect gives more performance, and more lift, but
are much harder to fly, and re launch. If your in the se, Youve got a selection of schools, are you far from brighton, and the sussex
kite centre, say helo to john elman Brown for me if you go there.

Ryewater sports seem a good place to learn, they teach the kite surfing on the beach at camber.
Well just need some wind now to get out in.
