More Snow!!
As always, straight from the Met Office:
ADVANCE WARNING OF SEVERE WEATHER
Here is an ADVANCED WARNING of Heavy Snow and Blizzards affecting South West Scotland, Northern Ireland, North West England, North East
England, The Midlands, Wales, South West England, Central Southern England and South East England.
Issued by the Met Office at 10:11 on Wednesday, 10 March 2004.
Warning of the occurrence of severe weather conditions between 12:00 on Thursday 11 March 2004 and 12:00 on Saturday 13 March 2004.
The Met Office is forecasting Atlantic frontal systems to approach the UK from the SW later on Thursday, and as the precipitation from
these systems falls into the cold air currently resident over the UK it is likely to turn to snow in places; especially but not
exclusively over higher ground. 5-10cm of snow are possible, which may lead to travel disruption, with untreated roads becoming
impassable. Snow will be accompanied by strong SE winds, which could lead to temporary blizzard conditions at high levels. The highest
risk area is Wales. The first area of snow is expected to move away to the north during Friday, dying out as it does so, but may be
followed by a second area later in the day or overnight into Saturday, before the weather eventually turns milder everywhere over the
weekend.

I particularly like the sound of "The highest risk area is Wales."

it's trying really hard to snow here right now, nothing to get excited about so far. its a start though!
