Reports do look good - should be mild aswel.

Im off to Worthing probably on both days. Tides for South Coast are neaps with LW@ about midday so pretty good choice of locations. Worthing is geographically good and doesnt take to long to get to and parking is all free with nice grassy banks.

Wales unfortnatley is a bit of a holiday destination for me and I usually try to get to Borth once a year for at least 1week.

A bit worried about the gusts though as www.weatheronline.co.uk have something like 60mph gusts for Portsmouth and Brighton areas. They say these gusts will come through with a F5/6 which is riduculous if true. One mintue you will be well underpowered then the next totally knocked down.

Enjoy whatever you do.

Im sure Al is gutted

Hey Spencer
Im off to portland tommorow for my first outing on a 78 liter wave board think I'll stick to the habour untill I've mastered the board (I don't want to get swept out!)

Windguru is predicting 26 - 35 knots which should make overcombe lively.

Jeez!!! F9 at the moment. A little to little windy for me. Total survival conditions. Check out chimet.co.uk for wind records in Chichester area. Will check again later but I hate these "all or nothing winds" we seem to get at this time of year.

Griptool/Spencer - have a good day but I can imgaine just rigging up will be a story in itself.

I hate not being able to get out when the wind is blowing a hoolly - maybe I should invest in a 3m but the only problem is it will only get used about once a year - aahhhhhh!!!!!

Bl00dy windsurfing - I just love it

Hi Shaka

I also got out today, I also had to swim back

It was offshore at portland and I was on my smallest sail (4.7) which was way to big. lesson learnt, not.

When I packed up spencer and joe were ripping it up
joe was on 65l board and 3.6m sail and he was still overpowered!
I wonder if anyone went surfing today?

great photos in the "look at me" area. Who said you cant see the wind!

I didnt get out on saturday - just to windy. Went down yesterday and had an okish day at Hayling in the end.

Chatting to a couple of guys at Hayling and they were out in the nuclear winds of sunday and said it was just insane.

4.7 - you must have been well over powered
