London Boat Show
Anyone planning a trip to the boat show this year?
The indoor windsurfing might be good.
I see, however, that the pool has sprung a leak?. No, a structural problem. They are attempting to rebuild a support in time to open
the pool on the 12th of January, instead of the 8th when the show opens.
I'm going to see the Jump final on Thursday the 15th, that is if the structural problem is fixed!
Anyone else going?

I had considered it Andy, it looks like it will be a great show.....but in the end decided to save my holiday to windsurf myself rather
than watching others do it.
Enjoy the show - hope they fix the leak in time.
Cheers

Nick,
I live in Perton, in South Staffordshire, just outside Wolves. But I'm working in Malvern, just down the road from the three counties
show ground towards Hanley Swan. We've got a great view of the hills.
Which pub were you at. Is it The Wiche up there? I seem to recall that they do nice food.
We occassionally got up there to fly power kites in the summer. Otherwise we go over to the common.
Cheers,
Andy

We went to the British Camp Hotel a mile or two south of the Wyche cutting - it's v.popular with walkers. Just follow the main road
south from Malvern (the one running parallel with the hills). After a couple of miles it takes you over the hill towards Ledbury.
British camp is at the top.
We used to live nearby in Upton upon Severn and if you want a local pub with character try the "Three Kings" in Hanley Castle .... it's
like stepping back in time forty years.
Cheers

Hey, if anyone bought 5tickets for sun 18th, there are now 2 sessions on sunday, and guess what, your ticket will get you into both
sessions!
Apparently there is a revised schedule in pdf format on the boards web-site (I can't find it though).
