Cracking day at Daymer Bay (sat)

force 5 gusting 6, mast high swell in the estuary and 6 foot waves breaking over the bar!

i was out on my jp fsw, with a 5.2 and it rocked!

sunday was rubbish wind-wise so we surfed polzeath instead - the wind had switched round so it was nice and clean 3-4 footers.

top weekend all in all.

Nice one!

Nice One nic. We had the wind here too on Sat, but no real waves. And thats where you have the advantage in Cornwall...when the wind drops there is quite often a good enough wave for surfing...Its not quite like that here in West Wales, which is one thing I miss... I'm certainly not as good at surfing as I was when I lived in Croyde... Oh well, you can't have it all I guesss...at least we don't have the crowds (both in the water and on the roads/car park).

Mind you, looking at the bouys this morning it looks as though the swell has made it up here a little bit, so its off to the beach for me.

Al.
