Hi,

Looks like I might be joining you all for my 1st salt water sail of the year ... long time no sea!

Will come over on Friday evening with family, probably camping at the Ynys-Fergi campsite near the Animalarium in Borth. Anyone know what this campsite is like? Their website www.camping-ynysfergi-borth.com looks nice but doesn't show any pictures of the camping fields.... seems odd!

Al - think I have some spare downhaul in the shed. Will bring it over. Hope to make it to the beach on Saturday + Sunday.

PS is the Friendship Inn child friendly? Hoping to sneak in for a a few pints on Fri+Sat evening... but will they let my 4+6 year olds in?

Nick...Yny-Fergi should be fine... its flat and grassy, what ele do you need... It should be pretty dry at the mo too.

Friendship is child friendly.

I'll see you at the weekend with some downhaul... Bring the wind with you.

Although I seem to be coming down with the lurgy at the moment, so no doubt I'll be ill and the wind will be howling.

Al I will down on Sunday and I think I have spare downhaul rope. If not I will see if I can get to Boardwise and get a few metres. Looking forward for a good sail. Maybe try some forwards?

I gave it a miss today as the lurgy has got me so I thought I'd save myself for the 'proper' wind forecast tomorrow... I have Dad duties in the afternoon so hope to get out relatively early, which is fortunate as that looks like the time when the wind will be at its best... See you all on da beach!
