force of nature......depends on your interpretation..deffinately a battle against the forces of nature, either the terrain or weather
are/can be a major factor........certainly a really good way to have a days fun, which i'm sure most on here will agree with, in fact
the only way possible to cover that sort of milage on that terrain is by m.bike...no need to push with 50BHP at the back wheel...the
funniest thing was watching the ramblers and mountain bikers run for cover as we came thundering down the road.......
i heard there's some really good trails just behind your new house...... ...

2nd of MARCH
so you gave the KTM a good shake down today, eh...col?
i've got a new front wheel and a set of pirelli scorpions in the post for tomorrow, so almost ready to go here too...although i still
hav'nt tried the bike yet....
"using the trees as berms".when referring to the faster riders...wtf!!!!!...lol
just remember the rules..no splashing, no flicking mud at the other competitors( especially number334). no shoulder barging and stay
behind me at all times.........(that way if i get any probs, you can
help me)
and it's 3 hours, not 2.5.

you'll be fine........just don't go too fast....
looking at the ordnance survey of the area, it looks like quite hilly terrain!......i just hope it stays dry..it's gonna be 10 times
harder if the ground is wet.
pirellis have just arrived,...just waiting on a wheel and we're ready
to go.
have a look at this clip>>>>

it's does'nt look that slow.. it was slippy out there .........also,
that was'nt the fastest part of the track by any means. i was too tired to walk up the hill, so only got a small part of the track on
film......
soz about the music......ity's the only one that fitted with the screaming engines.....wildcats of kilkenny by the pogues.
bike is being bolted back together as i type....well, not quite...barrel is back on, new piston fitted..should be ready
tomorrow.....that was most expensive lap i've ever done.
