Well I was at Dyfi cemetery Saturday in rather gusty conditions hanging on to my 11m sonic, most of the time on it's top end plus the gusts.

Some good waves though which gave some nice air.

Did manage to loose my by just as I left the water when going large. Hence the landing woke me up.

Not a bad day though all in all.

Well I did type another diary entry earlier, but like the last 4, they didn't show, any ideas Al?

Sat at Borth was super gusty and apart from Nigel, all other riders were on small bow's and havin a ball. being as the largest gust was 41 kts and prolonged bursts of 36 kts I decided to chill in the van, but after Niel came off the water with his new 7 Waroo, he was good enough to let me have a go. Needles to say, an hour and a half later, I came off the water looking like a cheshire cat, Not that I wanted to stop, just thought I may av bin takin d P!$$

Sunday started off 8 kts but soon picked up to14 so pumped up d 17, loadsa fun in d waves snd soon picked up to 18 kts. Managed to hold on with the aid of my superb 666 Pulling some very floaty jumps.

All in all a superb sail until I descovered that I lost my car keys...DOH...

Still finaly arrived home with aiching limbes an a tired head but still smilin

I have a look Jon..

Does anyone else have any problems with entering diary entires??

I didn't find it gusty at all, just a nice steady 30 knots or so.

Jon.... So what exactly happens when you try to put in a diary entry? It works perfectly here and seems to work for everyone else as well, I'm not sure where you are going wrong as there's no reason why it shouldn't work.

Do you get any error messages or anything?

Al.

Gutted I missed Saturday and again today (Monday) a very windy drive in to work :-(

Al,

I think Jon's issue might be if you add a diary entry but don't select an activity.

Might have been a problem at my end as I have been using a 3G card in my laptop but the last one, I did on my broadband connection

Very nice beach digs Mark, looks very comfortable to sit in on a windy wet night and consume vast quantities of jack Ta for the invite, does it have a heater

Looks like I missed another weeekend and the inlaws never turned up. They now want to come over next weekend this is getting serious Need an escape commitee and quick, as there appears to be wind forecast

Hi Chris,

well certainly looking forward to more luxurious beach lounging from now on !
comes complete with an outside shower as well to wash off the sand before stripping down.

heating is top notch with a blown air gas heater, supposedly the van is rated down to -25 degrees for full winter use. soon find out if its true when i hit the slopes in Pas de la Casa in a month or so's time.

hope you get the inlaws sorted, mine are not quite 'inlaws' yet, but best not say too much on that score as Deb's reads this forum and may be expecting a ring on her finger now she is 'officially' moving in ! LOL

see you soon.
Mark

tch tch tch.... I remember the days when my 'beach digs' consisted of a board bag in the dunes and a woolly hat if I was lucky!!

top van Mark , an A class to boot should keep you going for years might be an idea to look into converting the gas to LPG tanks from Gas Low, certainly if you are going to go abroad in the cold..........you cant get calor out of GB; filled mine up last sunday with 39 litres at the garage for £17.40 thats less than one tank refill from calor
