Snow!!
The Met Office have issued warnings for snow over Friday and Saturday, with the West Wales having a 60% chance of heavy snow and
blizzards...
http://www.meto.gov.uk/weather/europe/uk/warnings.html
Met Check also seem to suggest that it is going to snow continuously through Thurs/Fri night and into Saturday so maybe some snowy
activities could be on the cards this weekend?!
http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/dayforecast.asp?zipcode=Aberystwyth&day=3
A few housemates and myself are planning an early session on Friday morning in the hills... lets hope the forecasts are right!! Why am
I so excited?!?

The weather warnings have been updated:
quote: Latest indications now suggest that there is now a higher risk of snow for Wales and southwest England on Friday, especially
over hills and moors. Snow will also occur at low levels for a time.

I'll have to see how I feel Rob, but it sounds like a good idea.
Neil... I'd imagine the roads will be OK, they've had plenty of warning this is coming (if it does) so the roads should be
well-gritted.

Well, here are the latest warnings for Wales from the Met Office:
quote: Severe Gales
Affecting Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Isle Of Anglesey, Pembrokeshire & Powys
Northwesterly gales, with gusts to around 70mph, will affect coastal areas exposed to the northwesterly winds and more generally over
ground above 600 metres, for the rest of Thursday and into Friday morning.
Issued by Met Office.
Valid from: Thursday 24 November, 2005 at 16:33
Expires on: Friday 25 November, 2005 at 09:00
Blizzards & Heavy Snow
Affecting Bridgend, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Isle Of Anglesey, Neath Port Talbot,
Pembrokeshire, Powys, Swansea & Wrexham
Heavy snow showers and northwesterly gales will give blizzard conditions at times through Thursday night and into Friday morning.
Heaviest snowfall is expected over hills and mountains where 15-25cm of lying snow is possible in places. Up to 5cm of lying snow is
likely at low levels inland. The public are advised to take extra care.
Issued by Met Office.
Valid from: Thursday 24 November, 2005 at 21:00
Expires on: Friday 25 November, 2005 at 09:00

well after an early morning session on the slopes there is certainly enough to ski or board! wouldn't suggest bringing any shiny new
toys out though!
on the hills for about 6:15, it was still snowing, and continued to do so until 9:30.
here's a few pics!!
