Someone sent me a Bullet in the post...
...but this was no hate mail, oh no. It was those super people at powerkiteshop who are extremely efficient at shipping orders!
But typically, after two straight weeks of great wind, it has now been still for several days.
There is only one thing worse that having a kite and no wind - and that's having a brand new kite and no wind!
Still, it gives me plenty of time to read the instructions!

thursday after noon at Aberdyfi and its 25 knots. Looks like there should be wind all weekend as well. So you should be sorted. Get
ready for sore arms!!!!
Have fun

Hooray, the wind (well some wind) arrived just in time for the weekend..!
Not sure of the speed, but using Flexifoil's ready reckoner I think it was 11-16 knots. Bullet flew very well, and I was impressed by
how responsive (and amazed at how physically demanding) it was.
I was also chuffed to hear the occasional cheer of 'wow' and 'hey mum a real kite' from a couple of kids and a dog walker or two...
Dumped on my butt more times that I could count, and yanked into a forward sprawling roll once. Safety straps seemed to do an
excellent job the one time I used them (deliberately I admit, as an experiment).
Overall, bloody excellent, even the wife seemed genuinely impressed. And boy, have I found some new muscles...
