Poole Windfest
Well the windfest got off to a good start except for the (lack of) wind.
Sadly you can organise everything except nature, but for those of you who have not been yet, or were wondering whether you should go,
the Poole Windfest is bigger and better than before.
More competitors, more exhibitors, more interest and generally more fun to be had. Ok it would be better if the wind was enough to get
more competition going, but the freestyle, formula and T15 stuff going on today was enough to get the feel of the whole thing, and the
sun was shining!
Is it worth the trip?????? well it depends on how far you have to travel, but if you were contemplating the trip....stop thinking and
get in your car now, but don't forget your kit just incase it starts to blow!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend and what ever you do, have fun. SeanBo

Wanna read the full report on the UKWA website??, which starts something like this:
quote:
Windfest is a massive event and an opportunity for the industry to show off all it’s latest kit for enjoying wind & water
action. Also there are plenty of demonstration sports and alternative activities going on to keep people amused when the wind is
playing hide and seek. F2 and Animal put on a massive party for the Saturday night in a huge marquee with live music, token gambling,
cocktail & regular bars and masses of people letting their hair down.
On the water there was freestyle action with superstars such as Skyboy, Mullet, Cribby and the current top dog (and video star) Robby
Swift.
