Telephone Down - Weather Station Woes
Sorry for the temperamental updates on the weather station lately. Our phone line has been down for the last two weeks so internet
connections have been slow at best but more often than not non-existent.
This has meant that the Borth & Ynyslas weather
station has been unable to upload data to the server every minute as it normally does.
BT have just been out and have identified the location of the fault and will be back sometime soon(ish) to dig up the cable and fix it.
In the meantime I've asked them to put in a temporary line (which they have down) so hopefully the weather station will be uploading
every minute once again soon.
No data has been lost during this time, it just hasn't been uploaded to the website.

The temporary line seems to have done the trick for now. Our connection has been renegotiated with the exchange and I finally have a
proper internet connection again - Who'd have though a 1MB connection could feel so fast!
No doubt BT will turn up today to put in a new cable and break it all again!
