Easterlies on Monday

Looks as though there should be some Easterlies or NE's around on Monday and Tuesday - A possibility of some speed sailing in the estuary.

Should be fun and maybe a chance at the elusive 40 knots.

Al.

Here you go Shem, this is the one I've got: Garmin Forerunner 305, which seems to work fine, I bought a replacement for my old one the other day, although I was nearly tempted by this one Garmin Forerunner 310XT which is more waterproof but also quite a bit more expensive.

Wind still looks good for tomorrow.

Im tempted to look down in the morning for the estuary (9th) ... Anyone planning a mission... I'm looking at 10ish as soon as there is enough beach to launch a kite...

I'll be there, but it is quite a big tide today so I might wait until around 11ish once the tide has dropped and the speed channels are showing.

Should've waited for the tide to drop as I had planned really but there was another guy out so I decided to join him.

30-40 knots (and probably more in the maddest of gusts), very gusty and pretty choppy too... My knees hurt!

Don't you just love Ynyslas estuary!

Yeah - not the best of sessions for me At least I tried my new small kite (thanks for the launch Al).. Even if the bar failed after only a few minutes. From the weatherstation it looks like it really picked up shortly after I left... Always the trouble with trying new kit. Fixed now though with proper splices so it won't have that failure mode again. Whisper: Now Im hopeful for thursday from the west...
