Bank Holiday Weekend
I know this is a little late to ask, but whats everbody up to this weekend??
I know that myself, Anna, Dave, Sarah, Gmac and probably Ken will be in Borth hoping for the wind to be a little more than forecast,
but whats everyone else got planned??
'Forces-of-Nature' sports or DIY??

Hi Al,
Having managed to get out a few times recently, and not wanting to do battle with the hordes of motorists on the road for the bank hol
(20 mile tailbacks southbound on the M5 yesterday between the climb up the Mendips after the Avon bridge and Falfield - glad I was
heading N back from Weston), and it being my son's birthday today (& mine tomorrow), and going to Penzance next weekend, and not
wanting to spend too much money on petrol, I decided to stick around (sorry for the convoluted sentence!).
Looks like Monday could be good - may head over to Porthcawl.

Staying at home and sailing at brogborough didn't want to risk the traffic. Dam tourist
shouldn't be allowed on the roads

Best and worst of everything at the mo.
As I live in Poole and had to come home from the office in Hertfordshire yesterday, I got to sit in some bad bad bank holiday traffic
even though I was not going away for the weekend
The In-laws are hear to stay, so unless the wind is much better than forecast it looks like decorating and DIY....no chance to improve
my claimer or flamer stats.
Hope everyone has a good one

You didn't miss much yesterday... Radical Rob and Steve were here in Borth too, but there just wasn't enough wind.
I should have gone kiting really, but just hung around waiting for the wind to pick up as it was teasing us at about 14 knots.
Its been windy since about 4am today though, but it seems to be dropping off again... I might give it a go in a minute.

3 days with marginal winds at Brog
Then one and half hours for a 20 min drive on normal day cos someone decided to stuff someone up the arse on the M1 then a few more
people sail that looks like fun think I'll do that as well : result M1 shut
Nice one guys (or ladies) Holiday and sunday drivers should be shot

According to the diaries it looks as though it was pretty much the same for everyone...Lots of talk of 8.5m sails, big boards and
occasional planing.... Not quite my cup-of-tea so i didn't get out at all and went to work on Monday instead.
Still, at least the worst the trsffic got was one or two tourist who didn't know where the pasing places were on the coast road to
aber.
Forecast isn't looking great either.
