Xmas 2009 Snowboard trip in the vans anyone ?
Well, now the main thrust of the summer has passed by I thought it worth starting a thread on a possible snowboarding trip this xmas
?
With the way the bank holidays fall, it's only 3 days of holiday to be taken for a 10 day break leaving Xmas eve and returning Sunday
3rd at the latest.
flight/hotel options are understandably pricey over the xmas/new year period, but a trip in the vans could be good value.
Plus the advantage of going where the snow is will always be a plus point for me.
Any thoughts.... ?

Just an update for anyone interested, the tunnel prices are rising fast !
Checked online last night as friend had booked a 10pm-Midnight slot and it was £66, I phoned up this morning to book the same slot
and it has gone up to £203 !
The 9pm to 10pm slot is still £66 but would imagine it's selling quickly.
The slots 'after midnight' are £72 at the moment.

Just an update on the xmas snowboarding trip. 2 Vans confirmed and a group of 6 from Rhosniegr have booked into a hotel in Serre
Chevalier, so that will be the preferred destination. Some early snow already at Tignes and Val Thorens, but there is still 5 weeks to
go.
