On Monday down near Poole I wanted to get some breakie the nearest cafe was in the national trust carpark. I drove up to the attendant
and asked politely can I park in the corner for 30 mins max to get some breakfast? his response" £3 please" for 30 mins I replied
"yes " he said The car park was totaly empty I could understand if it was busy I could of parked up and he wouldn't know if I was in or
out but there wasn't another car!
Needless to say I told him to stuff it and turned round at which point I noticed that the little sign that goes with the single yellow
lines on the road said " no parking 10am -7pm 15 May - 30 Sept" Sorted! I parked up just out side where I could be seen todo so by
my new friend in his little shed at the car park entrance gave him a smile and went for breakfast!

Just to be pedantic - it's £3.50 now, (tut tut Al it means you haven't yet paid), they charge £1.00 a day if you don't ask for
the season ticket.
But they only sit on the gate when its sunny or busy (so don't tell the tourists). It appears that Al only goes there when its too
windy for the tourists.
