Aber MTB Rides Week Beginning 20th April

Night Ride
YMBC weekly evening ride is on Wednesday 22nd and is back in the Dyfi looking at more of the enduro trails in readiness for the Dyfi Enduro in 14 days time! (uh oh, I need more time!!)

We're looking to park somewhere a bit further north maybe, so that we can get to the feed station area quickly and look at the trails round there. That or a quick blast over there (30 minutes or so).

I'll post back with time and place.

Weekend Rides
End of Month Ride - Dyfi Forest. Meet at 10am in the car park above Ceinws at the ClimachX trailhead. We'll be doing a Dyfi Enduro loop, taking in many/all of the Enduro route on both the north and south sides of the forest. A practice run of the event proper the following weekend.

You will need to bring enough food and water, plus some spare innertubes and anything else you'll think you will need.

General Info
There is a group of 10ish transient and 4-5 regular “hardcore” riders who join in on these rides in and around Aber/Mach.
We will ride for 2-2¬? hours depending on the people who join us, at a social pace. Please feel welcome to join us at any time.

Al.

That sounds like a good plan... I'm sure there will plenty of fire road escape routes back to the car (wherever we decide to park) once the gloom descends.

It may be slightly easier to park just west of the red circle, where the forestry track comes in form the north and hits the road (you ride along it during the enduro). The pull-in there is pretty big.

Planning a ride this afternoon... Not sure exactly what time yet, but probably around midday. Hopefully from the Pendam Car Park and out towards Angler's Retreat.

The we have the Dyfi Enduro pre-ride on Sunday which looks as though it should be good. Quite a few poeple are coming and we are hoping to do the whole route. Should be the last chance to get some training in for the Dyfi Enduro.
