should have been here yesterday..and the day before, and the day before!

Well,
I've just got back in from yet another session... Thats 6 days in a row now and the end of what has been for me a pretty good April.

21 sessions in all with Stoke Factor of 65... An all time record!!

I know there have been some posts about the wind at Borth recently and everyone does say its always windy here, but this has been exceptional.

I only hope it continues.

Al.

I got out again today as welll 7 days in a row..... and counting

Stevievee... I realise you were only joking and I can understand your envy, but I don't see why the fact that I get out on the water so much means that you can't!!!??

It can't be my fault that you haven't been out this year. My posts are meant to be motivating rather than gloating. I'm sure you have your reasons for not going sailing/surfing, but its not my fault... Blame it on the kids/wife/mortgage/dog or whatever, but not me, I'm just trying to encourage people to get out there more.

Al.

I've booked the week off at late May Bank Holiday, and I'll be at Ynyslas all week,

I'll see if I can give Al a run for his money, but I reckon he'll sneak off and do some extra anyway.

It's supposed to be a holiday, but I can already feel the stress building up. Too much pressure man

Make that 9!!! And yesterdays was almost a 6 hour sesssion too.

I think the run is coming to an end though. My arms hurt and I don't think I'll be motivated to go out unless it looks really good now.

My foot could probably do with a rest too.

Well, You'll all be pleased to hear that my run has come to an end...

11 days in a row, and 27 sessions in 35 days!!

Theres enough wind for a sail tonight (16 knots W), but I really should do some work, so shall have to have a day off. It doesn't look as though there is much forecast for a while now either, so my foot may have some time to heal.

Bank Holiday rocks

Hey all,
Well I went down Borth and Ynyslas on Saturday, but I was a little disapointed.
OK so it's been about 12 years since I last did any windsurfing and with a 6 metre sail I bottled it lol, too windy for me on Borth, and I didn't like the look of the currents on Ynyslas, well it was a mixed weekend weather wise.
But I did go out on Monday, I had about an hour messing about at Aberaeron, and I tell you, I never want to see another rock in my life, and I got a nice big bruise on my back to prove it.
Anyway still enjoyed myself (even though there wasn't enough surf for me to get my pop out off the roof)(and I got sore feet and back) and looking forward to my next time in the area, next up for me though is Cornwall Whit week.

Sorry we missed you, the Estuary isn't as bad as it looks, but it really depends on the tide times. The river Leri comes in close to the beach so it can run quite quickly when the tide is on the way out, but when you can sail over the sand banks there really isn't much of a current.

It's better when there are a few people out as the ones who know the estuary will show you where to go., if you want a quiet life launch near the entrance.

If you are on the beach and see a trailer behind a Red Rover its Sarah and me. So come and say hello.
