How to turn one snowboard into two!

Go playing on board up Long Mynd and then after have lunch in van with girlfriend and leave snowboard outside van, then drive off without snowboard (bearing in mind this is the second time I have done this and I've lost 2 kiteboards and 3 sets of bars and lines!)
When 10 miles away girlfriend will go "Arg where's your snowboard?" Bomb back only to find board gone.
Look really dismayed (this is important) on way back girlfriend will say "I know you wanted to go again tomorrow why not nip into town and buy a new one, we can claim on insurance."
Do this making sure you buy a much better one.
Go boarding next day on new board.
Phone police that night who tell you that old board has been handed in.
Go and collect old board -mission accomplished -one board turned into two!
Voila!

LOL...Just trying to imagine the telephone conversation...

Tim "Good evening officer. My name is......and I live at......I have had my Brend new top of the range Palmer Platinum LE stolen."

Officer "thats a coincidence, someone handed a snowboard in this afternoon but it wasn't a palmer Platinum LE and it looked quite shaby"

Tim "Oh!....is it a rather nackered looking 'Burton Dog Rough' by any chance?

Officer "Er............That sounds like it"

Tim "No....that's definately not mine....can I still have a crime number?"

DOH

When you're close to the EDGE....Trust your INSTINCT....!
