Borth
Hi,
I'm Pete - from BWA. I'm coming to Borth for a week holiday saturday; Kelvin suggested I post a shout out here to find out what the
sailing is like, what quivers would be good, it is worth bringing the surf board etc...
(aslo I'm looking for a 8m sali if any one has one they are looking to offload)
Cheers
Pete

Bring everything with you.. Surf isn't likely to be good at this time of year but that doesn't mean it won't be going off.. Sod's law
says if you don't bring your surfboard the surf will be going off.
Bring all your windsurfing kit too... If the wind is easterly then you'll probably be sailing in flat water, but if there is any
westerly in it then you'll be sailing off the seafront. Again, it is unlikely that we'll get a big storm, but this is the UK so
anything could happen weather wise.... I was out sailing everyday last week, so you could be lucky.
Bring a mountain bike too, just in case there is no wind and no waves... Let me know when you're here and I'll show you the best places
to launch etc.

The weather forecast is looking good for the next few days - might even get to use my 4.5!

Yep, if Ivor kicks in properly in the estuary then evena 4.5m could be too big!!!
Shame it is looking so wet and cloudy though as that isn't so good for accelerating the easterlies. We shall have to wait and see
though.

Looks like another day for sailing on the estuary... Although it could be fun off the seafront at low tide too although offshore.
I'll be heading to the estuary, but will probably leave it a little later than yesterday so will get there around 8am I should
think.
Looking good at the moment. I hope you brought your small kit as a 4.5 will be more than enough if it is anything like yesterday.

I will be down on Monday morning early with new toy in tow. Wind still looks promising so hopefully I will get be able to get into the
channel while it is still flat.

Bring a small sail Impi.... Been gusting over 50 knots in the estuary this afternoon!
See you in the morning... May even sail off the seafront??
