bodyboard size

Hi I am new to this and am looking to purchase a new bodyboard. Various websites recommend different sizes. I am 5ft 2 (nearly 5ft 3) and petite in build. Does anyone know what size I need? Thanks.

Hi, where are you going to be riding, uk, abroad, reef beach brake? Smaller boards will be more manouverable, but catch waves slower. To big a board will make your life hell. Id have thought some where around a 42-44 would be ok, but its a few years now since I sold sponges, so things may have changed.

Thanks for the help. I am just going to be around the UK. Nothing too adventurous to start with! I am not sure if that makes a difference?
