Coed y Brenin for the weekend
The wind isn't looking great again for the weekend so I think the bikes will be out in force again...
I haven't done any of the trails at Coed y Brenin yet so think a trip there will be on the cards. Not sure which trails to do yet but
the Tarw trail and MBR trail look pretty inviting.

MBR is still my favourite trail in Coedy, especially if you tack on the mega downhill from The Beast at the end. Only takes 2-2/12
hours, so time to do the Red Bull after lunch - which is also well good.
My van is in the garage at the mo so doubt I can get out.

If I was there for the day I'd do the Beast (MBR + Dragons Back). Theres a cake stop on the way round but just watch out for
Gomez!
It was the trail I enjoyed the most when I was there in August.

We did do
The
Beast in the end, and it was really good. Steve was having mechanical problems most of the way around and we took it all pretty
leisurely, in the end Steve ended up pushing his bike for the last few miles so I just waited for him at the end of each section.....
Time for a new bike Steve!
It's a really good trail though with loads of good singletrack sections.
