What is the optimal psyique for surfing

What do people consider the best body type to have for surfing. Or does it not matter?

I reckon Laird Hamilton may have the optimal physique... Not only for surfing but for attracting the Laydees too!

Unfortunately for most of us too much beer and not enough pumping iron means we are less than optimal!

Surfing alone, plus a healthy lifestyle should result in a pretty lean fit physique i'd say.
