A few of us from the windsurfing club having an away day to the Brecon Beacons mountain biking. We stayed in a bunk house in Talybont
above a pub nice and handy for a few shandys.
We took Taff trail then forest roads then joined up with the roman road up to the gap. The roman road was quite a rocky accent but
rode all of it apart from a gully at the very start, very steep, rocky and a very wet ending if you got it wrong in the stream at the
bottom.
The decent from the gap was the rockiest that ive ridden without getting off and walking the brakes were almost smoking at the
bottom.
A really good ride weather not too bad other than one hail storm at the top of the gap sometimes its nice for the weather to be cold so
not to get too hot and sweaty.
nice spot usually on a engine bike for me though heres some pics of the gap
