Big Monday
It's pretty big out there at the moment.... Too big to go out on my own in wind that is a little inconsistent. Solid 6ft+ surf with
waves breaking miles out to sea.
I've just been watching it at high tide and the was reflected off the pebble bank going back out to sea were proper waves with 2-3 foot
faces, so when these collided with a wave coming in they were exploding into massive 10-20 foot high curtains of foam and spray...
pretty spectacular to watch.
Maybe a surf at the Lifeboat Station is the order of the day.

I went to have a look at dyfi, but the golf ball sized hail and lightning was another put off!!!! Maybe later.

oh boy,
what a day. went out at high tide and with margi working in tywyn i decided to do a little down winder. big big swell which just got
bigger and bigger. the dovey bar was MASSIVE very strange kiting out there all alone the water was super smooth and it was as if the
wind and waves went silent. made it to the other side and had some amazing waves at graveyards big big clean waves. kited up to tywyn
to see mark out weaving in and out of the groynes.
on its day mid wales has a big wave spot.
pleased to get home in one piece.

Sounds like ya had fun Chris, and a fun 3-4 mile wave riding sesh as well!!
Are u out any other days, its certanly a lonely experience being a week day kiter in Aberdyfi at the moment!

Just booked the rest of my holiday for the year. So I'm praying for wind on the 4, 14, 15, 21 & 22nd of Dec.

shem i should be out on thurs morning before work in tywyn. yep a bit lonely out during the week. although as i said before. mark was
out on a 11m sonic in tywyn. i thought he would be in sunny portugal by now.
looking forward to seeing the GK 9m trix i bet its a sweet kite. would have been perfect today.
