Big Seas and Big board at Borth

The wind eventually filled in today for a bit and I managed a pretty exhilarating windsurf session from the Golf Course Car Park, Borth.

Full details in the diaries as usual.

Did anyone else get out today??...If so let us know about your session either here or in the diaries where it'll be stored and added to your statistics.

Not so good today though. I got to the beach this morning and there wasn't enough wind. I then met Neil and Mark there from the Midlands ands we messed around with their new land-sailing board that they had built and a 5.0m sail. The wheels were a little too small for the wet sand though. They both left at around 1pm, and shortly after they left the wind picked up to around 18 knots so I rigged my 6.3m and Fanatic Cross, but by the time I had, the wind dropped again so I just ended up sitting around in my wetsuit and never got out on the water. I did get wet helping Derek launch his kite though. Derek then went off downwind and eneded up in the estuary I think.
