hi Daz a couple of guys had them in france, they have small battons all along the leading edge to help keep the aerofoil shape and
increase the lift iwould imagine. they certainly went well and boosted huge. the down side was the rate at which those battons
broke...........they are in the line of fire if the kite hits the deck!!
see you in black rock at the weekend

daz ive been trying to use one from the shop but they keep selling out...neils right about the cam batons, they come in a velcroed
pocket to make replacement easier, they also come with 3/4 spare batons...don't forget its a five line kite but by the 30 we've sold
they are very popular.......by all accounts power and feel of a 'c' shape but with loads more de-power......i'd love to try one before
i'm laid up, maybe this friday fingers crossed..
they do fly without the batons
i'll let you know

Have got the 9m and the 14m. used the 9 and its a great piece of kit. loads of lift in it and alot of float
went out in up to about 40mph on the 9 and it was no trouble at all. The wind died off to 15 -20 mph and i was still upwinding. I used
it on the two different attachment points, the rear setting was a nicer feel in my opinion and made it turn even faster, its really
responsive on both settings anyway.

The new bar is good and you can change the cleat position which is good, the bar stopper works really well too.
if Col gets one to the beach, have a go - another great north kite. I can't wait to try the 14m

By what the dudes say out here in Medano, it depends on your style of riding.
For out and out wave riding the Rebel rocks, but they say for all round riding and massive de power the Vegas is better.
You pay your money take your choice!
