New Photo Galleries
As you have probably noticed I have recently added some new photo galleries to the site. I hope you like them.
You should be able to upload images to the albums yourselves, add titles and descriptions to the images you upload and post comments on
images already in the galleries.
I have already set up several album categories and albums within each of these, but if you want new ones added just let me know and
I'll set them up. There is also an 'Events' category into which I expect to be adding new albums whenever anyone wants one, so if you
have a collection of photos from a particular event, or even one of those 'special days' at the beach just let me know and I'll set up
a new album especially for them.
As well as viewing the images and commenting on them you can also view all the images within an album as a slideshow (just to save your
finger from clicking on the mouse al the time!) and send images as eCards to friends and family. You can also rate images that you
particularly like.
Let me know if there are any problems or any new albums / categories you would like to see added.

Al cant log into new gallery to post photos, i assume i have to, to add pics

Nope... No need to login, just upload them anyway.
There should be an 'upload file' link at the top of the page. I haven't managed to integrate the login procedure with that of the rest
of the site, so anyone can upload photos, but I have to approve them before they go live!.. If you want credit for adding the photo
just put 'submitted by your_username in the description... I might find a fix one day.

Yeah saw those too - have to add some recent ones
Also reminds me to get a new camera after killing mine snowboarding in France this year not a good idea taking photos in a white out to
show how snowy it was

Gallery Fix
Right, it's taken me a while to get around to fixing this (mainly because it wasn't actually a problem), but I have now fixed things so
that you stay 'properly' logged in when you visit the photo galleries.
As I say, it wasn't actually a problem as you didn't need to be logged in to view the galleries and upload photos to them, but the fact
that you can now be logged in means several things:
1. When you upload an image it should know that you uploaded it and therefore display your username next to it.
2. You can create your own 'user albums' that allow you to store images in your own albums should you so wish.
