Daz's leading edge went bang as the stitching on the front tube came undone whilst zapping along borth, think it was new years eves
day.probably one of those days when you could nt get up steve!
Ben had to abandon his sonic yesterday as stitching came undone on the centre strop line whilst in the air.
do seem to be a bit short on quality control maybe.

Ooer!! as with all kites sonics have had a few probs, but at least they get replaced not just repaired, ( uhum Crapbrinah). Strange
thing is Ive had my sonic from day1, and used it probably more than most, and not had one problem with it. Lets face it, what ever you
buy be it a TV, bike what ever, theres always a faulty one, and kites are no different. I just know that theres no shortage of second
hand Crossbows in shops around the country at the moment?!

There seems to be quite a few different brands of bows with this problem. Makes me wonder if the technology is fully proven yet.

I've tested my 11m sonic to the full extremeties that cape town can offer for 5 weeks and the kite is still in perfect condition. I've
replaced my chickenloop with a much bigger one as previous one exploded midway through F16 to flat 3...then again i doubt many riders
in borth will be trying this move!!! But that's it, i wouldn't fly any other kite cause this is the best thing i've ever flown.
Oh yeah, the sonic is not a bow. It's a SLE
Hey Daz - Not sure where u bought your sonic, but get onto the gaurantee straight away cause Mat Pendle will sort you out no
worries!!!

already sorted the ka boooom!!! as graham called it, they replaced it next day. cant say anymore than that. got me new kite and while
tryin to self launch i folded the tip over and the small piece of, (i can only compare it to fishing wire) was stickin out enough to
dig into the kite and rip it as i pulled the tip round to get more sand on it, as you can imagine i was gutted. 2 kites so far. well anyways i decided to repair it myself i'm not even sure if that would
of come under warranty. other than that i agree with leo its made a massive difference to my riding. an dude i dont even know what a
f16 to flat 3 is, but it sound cool.

daz,
you can self launch without folding the tip over. its nice to know the kite may have teeething roubles and it is mk1 but airjam and GK
are full on about service.
leo,
cant understand why reviews keep on saying its not a kite for new skool tricks. the kite loops are big and with that much adjustment
unhooked tricks are much easier even managed a couple of back loops to blind. just gotta pass the bar.
