Snowboards

Anyone know of any sites, shops etc where you can pick up a snowboard second-hand etc.

Any suggestions appreciated.

No doubt someone here will have a snowboard in their garage that they want to sell... If not then some of the links down the right hand side of this page seem to suggest that they have 2nd hand snowboards to sell... Could be worth a try.

Tend to be a lot of cheap used boards on ebay some are crappy but others fine.

Other than there try the forum on SCUK:

http://www.snowboardclub.co.uk/

If you post a wanted ad will be inundated with people trying to offload old kit on you

If you're not sure of size to go for have a look here:

http://www.snowboardlengthcalculator.com/index.php

I have got my old board but going to keep to use with kite when we get some snow, don't want to trash my nice new Palmer

Yep... As soon as there's some snow I'll dig the snowboard out and meet you in the usual spot!

Talking of snowboarding. Just heard from a few mates from Queenstown NZ that they've just had a dump of snow on the ski fields at the start of summer. Wish I was stil there to get a few more sessions in. Gonna be a while before I next get a chance to go but I cant wait. Looks like it'l be Xscape or whatever its called in Pontefract next year when im back.
