Your thoughts on my next kite
Just wondering what your guy's thought about the Slingshot Diesel 7m for a high wind kite.
I'm 11.5 st and been mainly land based for past year and over the last few months been out on the water flying an 03 13m fuel. Still a
beginner though.
Want something which is not to quick hence my thoughts. The launch asist could be handy also.
Thanks
Mark

Not sure you'll find a lot of people who have flown that kite Mark, they only released it last year think.
From my experience and people will probably disagree with this!? You can get away with a higher aspect beast for the heavier winds. You
don't have a problem with relaunch on a small kite, it's easy. Higher aspects handle the gusts better and have more depower, which when
it's gustin +/- 5 knots can be a real advantage.
Spoke to some people at the weekend who recomend the small Caution Spitfires. It might be worth giving Airjam a call as they have some
good deals kicking about on em. Food for thought
I fly the 16 '04 and the build quality is super tough.

Try before you buy. A lower aspect can be a night mare for higher winds, ( trust me , I know). Im not suggesting you buy super high
aspect, but a little higher can be a real benefit for de power.

If you want to try, I've got a small quiver of diesels, from Airjam. Don't have the 7, but do have 5, 9 & 11.
