A nice early start, on the water by 6am after rigging in the dark. The wind was a little gusty to start with, but soon filled in to more than I was expecting so I was maxed out and at times overpowered with my 6.7m sail. Should have rigged the 5.7m really and could possibly have got away with a 5m at times. Nothing special, just some nice flat water blasting and some good chop hops and gybes.

I can't believe that you get up at that time of the morning to go out on a 6.7. Hats off to you Al that you maintain your enthusiasm in those conditions when you seem to have so many days per year with 20kts plus.
