Possibly Neil.... Although with modern windsurfing kit windsurfers can actually get up and planing earlier than kitesurfers I think...
I saw someone out fully planing the other day in about 6 knots... Not my kind of windsurfing, but it is possible.

I talked to BEFS he is not going. I am going so far, along with my brother in law who sails at Cannock, and maybe one other.

I'll be there on Friday (from 11ish) and Sunday. Anyone else planning a Friday session?
Staying with some mates in Aberdovey on Fri+Sat night(Dovey Inn) and will be trekking up Cadair Idris on the Saturday...... unless the
wind's blowing and I can't resist a sail instead!
See you there ... what time does the demo normally get going? Can't wait ..... currently selling my Techno on eBay so might actually be
buying something!

Usually starts aboutt 11.00am they need a bit of time to rig up. Mind you if its forecast to be windy they might be earlier ;-)
Staying over Sat night so will be there bright and early Sat am for the weekend....

Hi all,
im 95% sure i can get up for the weekend, forcast looking good, my ribs feel alot better today but still not risking sailing untill
the weekend even though its 25knts out at the mo & yesterday too & probably tomorrow!

Not going to make it I'm afraid. Other commitment, and the total withdrawing of all passes let alone the funds to buy new toys has been
threatened

p.s I understand ... my three day ticket to Borth has cost me around the same time in DIY jobs that have to be done before I leave!

Women hey!!! I don't know, we buy them lots of nice things like new mops and shiny saucepans, let them go to the launderette and
supermarket whenever they want etc.... Don't they realise we have needs too!!! 
Still looking good for Friday and OK for saturday. There might even be enough wind around on Suday to try out some big kit as well.

Dare I say it..... The wind is still looking good for tomorrow, Westerly in the morning, veering NW and picking up in the
afternon/evening. It's likely to be raining and feeling a little chilly though. (And I still only have a summer suit... brrrr.)
There should still be enough around on Sunday morning as well, hopefully!
