Has anyone been kitesurfing on Weston-Super-Mare beach? It's the closest beach to me and I have heard that there is potential? First

Yep, its fine there and you'll find quite a few other kitesurfers (and windsurfers) out with you. I'm not sure what the eaxact
restrictions are regarding kiting at the moment, but someone here will be able to tell you.
If its your nearest beach then no doubt you know all about it, but there are details on it in
theBeachguides.
Have fun.

kiteboynick,
Weston-super-MUD!! Its not a bad place to kite. You can kite upto 2 hours before high tide and about 1 hour after. Theres a great deal
of mud around and thats why restrictions on high tide is a must. Just remember you will have wash your gear well after your session and
god help you if you drop your kite like I did!!
Brean just round the corner from weston maybe a better option as slightly more sand than mud and longer session times due to tide
dirrection.
I hope this helps
