It works OK here...but its only the same info as is available elsewhere (xcweather.co.uk) but with fewer stations listed.... I guess
the raw data has to come from recognised weather stations and there are only so many of those around, so getting new info that isn't
already available is going to be difficult....
Maybe once we have broadband here (October) we'll have to get a Borth weather station up and running and submit the data to these sites
as well... I've looked into it and its not cheap, but it would be good to have realtime data from this area of the world.... At the
moment the nearest weather stations are Llanbedr (Barmouth area) or Aberporth Bouy, both of which are quite a way from here and so
don't really give accurate enough readings for Borth itself.

I have to persuade Anna thats its a good idea first!!!
And we are talking somehwere between £500 and £1000 to set it up!
(or at least it was somewhere around that last time I looked)

oooooooh loads of money
i'm sure we can raise it though
perhaps we could have a sponsored kite/sail!
And i'm sure Anna will appreciate the many benefits of being able to know what the weather is doing without having to even look
outside!

I'll wait until we actually have broadband here, and then look into the possibilities and costs again... I don't mind spending the time
to set it up and keep it running, but I can't really justify spending too much of my own money on it as it won't actually be of any use
to me as I can just look out of the window to see what its doing here!.. It could be of use to all the people who spend money and time
travelling here though.
We'll have to see if we can raise the money somehow (maybe local authority grants may help?)... I already spend too much of my own
limited funds on this site!

wind map looks like i,m sorry to say a xcweather rip off , as for the wap service xc also does that at moment .
Al forget the live data theres already plenty about , but a web cam would be better as they say a picture is worth a thousand words.
