Hi Folks from newbie KItesurfer!
Text
Ok it seems we get pestered with requests about info on newbies so here goes:
Learnt to Kitesurf in Essaouira, Morocco approx 18 months ago on one of my many adventures in that neck of the woods, haven't done
much since then ,but thats now got to change. Learnt with an inflatable and a directional board but I'll be in Borth/ during mid
august trying to match my Concept Air New Wave with a twin tip. I expect to be bruised battered or drowned before I get back into the
swing o things. Live in Burton on Trent and don't like cold water :-) so anyone interested in winter kitesurf trips to Essaouira, I
don't need much persuading, to organise that sort of bash.
Cheers

Jon... Let me know when you'll be in Borth and I'll meet up with you for some kitesurfing if you like. Theres a few local kitesurfers
in Borth and we're all pretty friendly and helpful.
Try to stay to the North of the end of the groynes up at the Ynyslas end of the beach. Its safer up there away from the groynes, theres
loads of space and we're trying to restrict ourselves to that area so that we don't get in the way of other beach users. There aren't
any restrictions anywhere on the beach as far as kiting goes, so we are trying to keep it that way by being as responsible as
possible.
See you soon.
Al.

The twin tip should make things a lot easier for you, and with Borth having so many nice riding locations, you should find it easy !!

Borth Dates
I'm planning on getting to the campsite sunday evening 15th, then up early for 5 days of kiting (weather permitting). I'll know better
next week and would be great to catch up with others.
Thanks for advice about best sites, I'll probably be starting of land kiting then into the estuary for the wet stuff. Fingers crossed
for good weather!

We'll keep an eye out for you.... Lets hope theres some wind... If so I could be persuaded to go for a few early kitesurf sessions
followed by a late start at work!
