Trails?
Hi, can anyone point me towards where the local mountain bike trails are in the Borth/Aber area? I see quite a few student types riding
some quite serious kit, but cant find the serious trails.
Cheers.

Nant Yr Arian on the A44 is rumoured to be pretty good, never ridden it myself...

Yep Nant yr Arian is right on your doorstep, lots of good trails and looks like they're now better marked than when I used to go and
Summit Cycles have one trail:

There are also some decent routes around Machynlleth, call in at Greenstiles Cycles in Machynlleth near the clock to ask.
Also if you're willing to drive a bit further Coed Y Brenin is within fairly easy reach.
Take a look here for more info:

As far as I know the Nant Yr Arian trails have been improved loads over the last year and are pretty much on a par with those of Coed Y
Brenin these days....
Both are promoted as 'world class trails', so they should be good!!
