It looks as though we could be joined by some pretty serious mountain-bikers on our favourite trails around here.

Aberystwyth has been named as an official training venue for the 2012 Olympic Mountain Biking.

The university and its Sports and Exercise dept. means it can provide the athletes with the training facilities they need and of course it has world class MTB trails on its doorstep... Expect to be passed by some lycra clad 'olympians' on the Leg Burner!

I wonder if there going to build some more trails for them?
I remember the Nant Y Arian trail being built in my first year. We couldn't wait to try out each new section every weekend ignoring the 'Construction Works - No Entry' signs.
