Ivor is here

We had a gorgeous spring-like weekend here and sure enough, ivor put in an appearance in the estuary.

He turned up as it got dark and colder last night and is warming up nicely this morning. Currently around 20 knots here (25knots in the estuary).

Shame it is so difficult to get to the water in the estuary at the mo.

Al

Keep us updated please, as I may be able to sneek off work this week for a speed session. Looks like I will have to enter form the Aberdovey side and work my way across to the speed strip. Time to break 38knots.

Ive been working next to the estuary all day, and the wind has been solid all day till 3ish, might nip in for a lunch time ride tommorow

I went for a run to the estuary earlier and you can still access the water from this side at the moment as there is a nice gap in the fencing.

Lets hope Ivor puts in an appearance tomorrow morning.

Ivor is up to his usual tricks this morning.... Mind you, this is the best time of year for him and at the moment it is a gorgeous sunny day with about 30 knots of wind in the estuary..

Shame there isn't quite enough water yet, but there should be soon, so time to head to the estuary for a quick breakfast blast.

Looks like I timed my trip to Aber wrong, there was naff all wind over the weekend when I ventured over to Borth. The only wind we had was a light SE on Saturday and even that didn't look great.
Forecast for the weekend here in the NW is pants as well. Grrrrrrrrrrr
