Forecast is showing 30 knots W for the afternoon.

Up in Yorkshire on Monday but Sunday could be on if the wind holds and the rain stays away.

OK.... Looking quite southerly at the moment for Sunday so it will be hit and miss as to how good it will be, but if there's enough wind it could be really good, especially as there should be some swell as well.

Sunday looking like the better of the two days now.... What time will you guys be getting to the beach?

I'm on nights, but fingers crossed for wednesday, thursday, Friday

Just been across to the beach and it looks OK... Currently around 20 knots and not too gusty considering it is Southerly (or 'gusterly' as it has now been named!).

Looks as though it should pick up a little this afternoon, so I shall probably wait until around midday to go out.

Monday looks promising again now as well.

Turned out good here.... Maxed out with my 5.6m would have been perfect with a 5m, but mine is broken..

4.5m would have been good most of the time but i didn't want to get caught out in the lulls in front of a monster wave!
