justal - 2-1-2008 at 08:54

Forecast Looks good for the weekend at the moment:

WSW 25-30 knots on Saturday and then W 20 knots on Sunday.

Who's gonna be out to play??

Al.

AndyW - 2-1-2008 at 11:43

I might be out on Saturday.

I have to arrange to have the kids on Sunday instead but all being well I might get out to play.

Andy

Impi - 2-1-2008 at 14:01

At least it will be a little warmer. Count me in for Saturday. It looks like the speed session for Thursday is off for me. Too much work to do plus the temperature looks like hypothermia may be a massive issue.

justal - 2-1-2008 at 14:26

Shame on you Impi... I've just got back from the beach and the surf is picking up so it could be a full on down-the-line offshore wave-riding day tomorrow... I would go out now but it IS cold out there!!

Al.

AndyW - 2-1-2008 at 14:48

Winds picking up here now and just been out and its getting colder.

Looks a little chilly tomoz and being my first day back at work, and as I'm working from home there's no way I'm asking for a day off ;-0 They'd think I was talkin the pee....

Shame it's not warmer though.

Fat Shady - 4-1-2008 at 19:01

Looking at the Isobars on the BBC and the wind on XC weather, it looks like North Wales will be better for wind this weekend.

Low tide is around 1.30 at Black rock sands, so that is where Shady and Deathbag will be heading this Saturday to try and score some lagoon action.

Hope to see some of you there if you fancy a gamble on the wind

justal - 5-1-2008 at 09:42

Its a nice steady 22knots on the beach at Borth right now.

Think I'm having a family day though.

Al.

Steff - 5-1-2008 at 22:18

200 m sea swim at Barry Island at 3pm today, brrrrrrrr nut numbing but avoided prolonged face/head inversion but got caught by a few breakers
sea temp 7-8C

Fat Shady - 5-1-2008 at 22:29

Had a great day at Blackrock. The wind was as high as 30mph in the morning although dropping to around 15mph in the afternoon.

Best news though my grandson was born today Another little shady to carrry on the family tradition of excess

Excellent news.

Was a good day at BRS. Wish I'd got there earlier but hey the 2 solid hours on the water was OK. Got a little cold at the end.

Good to see you again Wayne. Nice to meet you Paul.
