just come back from a quick skiing and sledging session in the hills near devils bridge - had to find a northerly slope with snow, not great, but the forecast is looking good for tomorrow. snow all day according to the bbc.

any news on your plans for 2moro yet al?? shem are you coming over this side maybe to the a44, or staying dyfi side??

hoping to go to usual spot on the A44 2moro, didnt have much success today - it was a bit of an unplanned trip - went into town and noticed snow on the hills so headed out about half 2.

most of our house have the day off 2moro except 1 who finishes at 11, he might come and meet us there rather than have us hang around though, not sure yet. i'll let you know whats going on when i know myself!

OK.... I'll get up early and see if I can find my snowboard... I think it is in the shed!!

Not quite as much as I was expecting... The skies have been clear since about 3am and there has been quite a bit of melting already.

Should be OK in the hills though so I shall wait until it is light and see what things look like then.

Cloudy again now and there has just been another heavy snow shower... There must be plenty in the hills, so I shall have a coffee, find my snowboard and then head off to higher ground.

Actually, I might use Google Earth as it so cool and it'll be nice to actually 'use' it rather than just pfaff around looking at places I already know!

i'm thinking of getting out early so that i can be back for an afternoon in the lab from 2-2.30 onwards. i'd be up for going back to the same place 2moro, it will be absolutely stonking up there with another 10cm on what was already there!!

as for a time, say 10?? let me know where you decide to go. if there is somewhere high and suitable nearer we'll go there, but i don't want to trek too far cos my car is running on fumes and i can't afford to put too much petrol in at the mo!!

of course being back on time would depend on energy levels and "piste" conditions!!

10iah at the same place sounds good to me. There are other places closer, but nowhere that will be quite a sgood I don't think.
