Well what a holiday had a great time, and 12 days of planning windsurfing out of 14, lots of dingey sailing and wakeboarding too, I'm exhausted but it was great fun. I've updated the diary on my site if you want to read straight through and i'll be updating Al's stuff later to get my stoke
factor

Nice one Paul... A Stoke Factor of 80 and its only the 18th!!! Thats definitely a record. Almost makes me think it would be worth going on a holiday and leaving the winds of Borth behind. ;(

Sounds like you had some decent winds towards the end of the holiday as well, and got to try out a variety of kit. Did any of it make you want to flex your credit card???

Al.

shame I have no energy left for the rest of the month mind you I didn't add in the stoke factor for the wakeboarding, but then it was done behind a dirty smelly speed boat....

Still we did have some great winds, although the only grumble was the tushingham sails as they were all so flat, and I'm used to fuller sails, if i'd have had my kit I'd have been out on my naish board and 6.4 on the 7m days, still with everything rigged in a rack on the beach and sailing in boardshorts I can't really gripe too much, and the flat water sailing made a change from the white water I normally sail in down here.

As for flexing the credit card, not for a while I'm skint, plus we have next years holiday to save for. Then again a new 80litre ish wave board for the autumn and a replacement for my 5.4 would be nice <grin> As for the kit, those carve 135's are great they are so easy to sail, definatly a better board than my techno, would certainly make a good lighter air board, they fly up wind too.

Nice one Paul....good to see SOMEONE can give Al a run for his money!

And good to see you made the most of your hols.

I only hope now that Alan accepts defeat and doesn't try to catch you up.

Keep up the good work

well with the last 2 days it sure looks like he's trying to catch up this month, and me stuck at work again, still sailing tomorrow night so that should be worth a couple more points
