picked up our new camper van and drove over to fresh west for a surf. lines of cars and all the surfers standing watching massive sets rolling in. rip central. asked a few locals if anybody had been out and a couple had but just not nailed. the sound of the waves kept me wake all night then shapless swell the next day.

Tch tch tch... I'm disappointed in you Chris.. Eddie would have gone!

Mind you 12 foot must have meant 20-25 foot faces, which is big in anyones books!... Some of it made it to Borth as the waves here last night had solid 10 fot faces.... A little more manageable than Pembrokeshire by the sounds of it.
