Friday, and at last I had the conditions and the courage to take out Al's former board, the Axxis 278. Norman's Bay (just to the E of Eastbourne), cross-on force 5, 5.4 sail....

OH MY GOD!!! Faster than a very fast thing! Even went for a couple of jumps, although the landings were less than pretty.

It was the kind of session that leaves you grinning and buzzing for a month!

Think I may treat the Axxis to some new straps tho!

Cool, glad to hear you've finally got out properly on the Axxis..
You wait until you bring it to Borth, it knows its way around these waters and will give you the ride of your life!!
