Steve Hillage/Rainbow Dome Musick.

markh - 30-6-2003 at 15:38

Bit of Goldfrapp at the mo'. Excellent stuff - I seem to get far more work done with something decent playing.

Am quite a fan of streaming down a bit of Radio 6 as well. Great for expanding those music horizons with stuff you haven't heard before or had forgotten about.

Uli Jon Roth / Tuona E Fulmina (Vivaldi) from 'Transcendental Sky Guitar' album at the moment... Everything else has been too embarassing to mention!

And when is someone going to be listening to something I've heard of...Or is that just a sign of my advancing age!!

Al.

I think Uli Jon Roth is really cool.So i am listening to Electric Sun/Beyond The Astral Sky.I have not played it for ages.As i am probably the oldest member here.I think that my music taste gives that away. Its mainly classic rock and prog rock.

'Cool' could be one word to describe it I guess, but probably not the one I'd use. When you see someone everyday they soon cease to be cool!!!... Especially when you had never heard of them before you knew them!

Jethri Tull hey.... I know Clive Bunker the drummer from Jethro Tull too. He's a really nice bloke and a little more 'normal' then Uli!!!

I'm not listening to anything at the moment as I'm trying to be quiet so as not to wake anyone.

Have you heard Jack Johnson? Really nice mellowish stuff with a bit of reggae and nice accoustic guitar - and he's a class surfer from Hawaii too. Highly recommended.

Thodd - 6-4-2005 at 08:24

Shawn.. if you like Jack Johnson then check out John Mayer and Donavon Frankenreiter.
In fact Donavon Frankenreiter is a surfing buddy of Jack Johnson so their music styles are very very similiar.

Jonny - 6-4-2005 at 10:17

Thats the only stuff they play over here in NZ at the moment. Jack Johnson and donavan frankenreiter will be raking in the cash with the big following here. Its contantly on in all the shops, internet cafes etc. There actually playing Jack johnsons album here in the internet cafe as I speak so im listening to my local radio station Rock FM as its getting prettty tedious listening to the smae music everyday.
